Tesla workers in Shanghai will now have to live in the factory

According to a “Bloomberg” article spotted by “Korii”, an internal memo from the Tesla factory in Shanghai explained to factory workers that they will have to live in a “closed-loop system” until May 1.

Work, relax, eat, sleep. The Chinese workers of the American company will henceforth be forced to live in a vacuum. As the American media reports, the comfort would also be basic for the employees, since they will sleep on the floor with a simple mattress and a blanket.

The workers will receive an allowance of around 400 yuan (57 euros) per day for their daily expenses and will be entitled to three meals a day. Instead of the usual “three-eight”, they will also have to work 12 hours a day.
