Tesla postpones resumption of activity in Shanghai

However, the latest notice seen by Reuters says the automaker has canceled production plans for April 1-2. Two people familiar with the matter quoted by Reuters said Tesla had not yet obtained a permit from the Shanghai government for its trucks to deliver electric cars assembled outside Pudong in western parts of the city. Shanghai is set to lock down areas west of the river from the early hours of tomorrow morning. The company may also have chosen to extend the suspension due to a shortage of workers, one of the sources said.
