Tesla will make charging free during off-peak hours for all customers at select stations from February 11 to 27.
As you have probably noticed, for the past few months, fuel prices have been constantly climbing, reaching totally crazy levels, with a liter of diesel fuel exceeding two euros. A difficult situation, which nevertheless benefits certain players, and in particular supermarkets, which are increasing operations such as fuel at cost price as well as liter at 1€ to attract customers. And it works, while motorists rush to service stations. No question for Tesla to miss this opportunity. But if the brand is in theory not really concerned, it sees in this situation an excellent way to attract new customers. After all, who hasn’t envied, for a second, the owners of electric cars, seeing the price of its full?
A seduction operation
Tesla therefore proposes to offer charging on Superchargers to all its customers, even new ones who do not normally benefit from this advantage reserved for the very first buyers of Model S. This operation, which will take place from February 11 to 27, does not however, is not unconditional. Indeed, only 27 stations will be concerned in France, to be found directly on the site from Elon Musk’s firm. Most of the resorts are located in the East, on the roads leading to the Alps, a privileged destination during the winter holidays.
In addition, to take advantage of this offer, it will be necessary to top up outside peak hours, i.e. before 10 a.m. and after 6 p.m.
