Tesla launches massive new vehicle recall

You’re here told the US authority that the error could cause a valve in the heat pump to open unintentionally and block refrigerant inside the evaporator.

The company intends to perform a software update to resolve the problem. The recall concerns the Model 3 2021-2022the Model Sthe Model X and the Model Y 2020-2022. Tesla said it was unaware of any crashes related to the software error, but NHTSA said there was a risk of reduced windshield visibility under certain conditions, which could increase the likelihood of a crash.
