Tesla expands its network in France – L’argus PRO

When Elon Musk inaugurates mega-factories around the world, Tesla France also unveils its new network. If 2021 has allowed the establishment of seven new branches badged with the “T” in France, 2022 is also starting under the best auspices for the brand of American electric cars. She did announce the opening of new centres, the first in Meurthe-et-Moselle and Normandy.

Tesla Paris, the largest branch in France

The one in Nancy opened its doors at the beginning of April and covers 3,000 m2. “ It is already possible to take the wheel of the Model 3 and Model Y for a test drive and to contact the brand’s specialists for any questions. Specialized technicians are also available to carry out maintenance or repairs »said in a press release. The second, Normand, is located in Caen on an area of more than 1,500 m2. This site was inaugurated on April 15 with sales teams already operational, while after-sales activity will start at the beginning of May.

Two centers are therefore expanding the manufacturer’s French network, but it has a surprise in store for the end of the year, namely another location in the Paris region: “in order to support Tesla’s growth in France, a new large-scale branch is under construction east of Paris. All of the brand’s services will be offered there: sales, after-sales and delivery. A Supercharger station will also be available on site. This new Tesla Center, the largest in France, will open its doors by the end of 2022.”.

Following a reorganization near Cagnes-sur-Mer and Cannes-Mandelieu, in the Alpes-Maritimes department, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, a shop and an after-sales site had to close to consolidate all services into a single address. To date, there are therefore now 21 sites open, 22 with Paris within a few months. But Tesla has confirmed that the sales and after-sales network should continue to develop strongly in France in 2022, without communicating its annual opening targets.
