Sports tech company Raw Stadia raises €1 million

The sports technology company Raw Stadia has raised one million euros from Belgian investment companies LRM, Noshaq and Leansquare, as well as the American Stadia Ventures, the Belgian-British company said in a press release on Friday. Raw Stadia helps professional sports teams monitor and optimize the impact of the field on athlete performance. With this raising of one million euros, the company wants to address the international market and different sports.

The company was founded in 2018 initially focusing primarily on football. “After a successful deployment and the building up of an excellent customer base made up of numerous football teams from the Bundesliga (German football league, editor’s note), the Premier League (in England, editor’s note), the Jupiler Pro League and different top European competitions, we are ready for the next step“, comments CEO Jan Stryckers.

The objective is now to diversify the sports studied, while baseball and American football are more popular than soccer in the United States. In Europe, Raw Stadia sees potential in cricket, rugby and equestrian sports.

The investments will also be used to recruit employees.
