In order to avoid large crowds during the holidays, the manufacturer Tesla offers charge your electric car for free during off-peak hours in Supercharger stations located on the busiest routes in France and Europe.
A discovery that Tesla Magazine obviously shares with you!
Good news for Tesla car users! While the Model 3 is breaking sales records in Europe and the cost of electricity continues to rise, Tesla has decided to offer charging via its Superchargers, free of charge outside peak hours.
An initiative already carried out several times across the Atlantic, and who therefore arrived in Europe with this first test during the last winter holidays. Clearly, Tesla has targeted the roads used to get to major ski resorts, as can be seen on the automaker’s site.
In France, this therefore concerns a large part of the east of the country, here is the list of free Supercharger stations:

A fairly long list as you can see… Proof of the generosity of the brand! The idea is of course to unclog the charging points as much as possible.
How to take advantage of the free charge?
As indicated, in France, this concerns 27 Supercharger stations on which you can load your vehicle for free from Friday to Sunday between February 11 and February 27, but beware of off-peak hours, either before 10 a.m. and after 6 p.m.
If the dates have now passed, do not doubt that new offers will be established by Tesla, which does not fail to surprise its customers and observers! We are therefore still waiting for upcoming charging stations for major holidays particularly.
We can easily assume that this time it will be a question of charging points concentrated on the coasts because we know it well, the French go mainly to the heat and to the sea in summer! Even if we don’t forget our mountain friends… who may once again have the chance to benefit from free Supercharger stations!
The opening of the Tesla network
Note also that if you leave France, stations located in Germany (31 stations), Norway (8 stations) and Sweden (13 stations) are also concerned. As a reminder, the offer is reserved for owners of a Tesla vehicle. But maybe it won’t, so stay tuned!
Indeed, Tesla charging points have recently opened up to owners of electric cars from other brands…
