But the consultation of a broker specializing in fleets prompted us to review this choice for a specialized insurer. It is not only more competitive for equivalent protection, but we have also reconsidered its contracts to better match them to our fleet and optimize costs. For example, we noticed that we had too many different formulas depending on the vehicle and, in some cases, protection for amounts that were too high in relation to the goods actually transported.

With this new insurer, we have also decided to review the deductible amounts upwards, which goes hand in hand with lower monthly payments. An approach that we could consider given the work done upstream to educate drivers about road safety. And all of this work has paid off: we have made a financial gain of around 15% per vehicle. »
