Occupational risks: Health Insurance launches the “Independent Building Trades Prevention” subsidy

In order to prevent the risks linked to their professional activity and in particular the risk of falls from heights and musculoskeletal disorders linked to vibrations, self-employed workers without employees working in the construction sector can request, since 17 May 2022the grant “Independent Building Trades Prevention”.

This national system is aimed at business leaders without employees covered by the General Scheme and exercising a building trade under one of the following 24 NAF codes:

  • masonry: 4120A, 4120B, 4399C, 4399D;
  • cover / frame: 4391A, 4391B, 4399A;
  • heating plumbing: 4322A, 4322B;
  • electricity: 4321A;
  • stone trades: 2370Z;
  • plaster and insulation trades: 4329A, 4331Z;
  • paint and coatings: 4333Z, 4334Z, 4339Z;
  • carpentry (wood and PVC): 4332A;
  • locksmithing metalwork: 4332B;
  • wood crafts: 1623Z, 1624Z, 1629Z, 3101Z, 3102Z, 3109B.

The company will be able to benefit from the “Independent Building Trades Prevention” subsidy up to 50% of the investment excluding taxes, for the purchase of equipment made from May 17, 2022. The amount of the subsidy granted is capped at €4,000 excluding VAT.

The equipment covered by the grant is as follows:

  • mobile scaffolding;
  • individual rolling platforms (PIR);
  • light rolling individual platforms (PIRL);
  • anti-vibration portable tools (drill, concrete breaker, chainsaw).

TO NOTE

The aid is limited to a maximum of 5 pieces of equipment per company.

To apply for the grant, self-employed persons meeting the award conditions must download and complete the application form, then send it by email to the regional fund to which they are attached (Carsat, Cramif or CGSS) with the following supporting documents:

  • completed grant application;
  • copy of the paid invoice(s): the date of the invoice(s) must fall within the period of validity of the offer. The invoice must include the name of the company, the mention “paid”, the date of payment and the handwritten signature of the establishment with mention of conformity with the specifications (s) if existing (s) as well as the possible date of the purchase order and the delivery note;
  • Kbis extract from the company less than 6 months old or the document entitled “SIREN directory situation”;
  • RIB: if the business name of the RIB is different from that of the establishment, affix the stamp of the company, the date and the signature of the legal representative of the company and its function;
  • the end of training certificate and the invoice paid for the training once training has been taken for the erection and dismantling of the scaffolding.

TO NOTE

As the budget for the “Independent Building Trades Prevention” subsidy is limited, the rule favoring the order in which requests are received is applied. The end date of the subsidy will be updated on the Ameli website, under the heading “entreprise », based on requests received.
