To enable people who have suffered from cancer or hepatitis C to obtain a mortgage more quickly and thus reduce the cost of their loan, their conditions of access to borrower insurance have just been relaxed.

However, despite several amendments to this text since its introduction in 2007, the rates charged to former cancer and hepatitis C patients can reach very high amounts, even completely dissuasive to consider real estate acquisition.
