A major fire broke out in Vadonville (Meuse) in the LBF technologies company this Wednesday, May 11 in the early morning. About fifty firefighters were mobilized. No poisoning reported on this organic product packaging site.
The fire, which broke out this Wednesday, May 11 shortly before 8 a.m., required the deployment of around fifty firefighters from the barracks in the south and north of Meuse.
A large part of the LBF technologies company in Vadonville (Meuse) was devastated by the flames. “It is an artisanal building of 1,400 m2 which completely burned down“indicated Lieutenant-Colonel David Hantzo, head of the operational center of the SDIS Meuse, “the many fumes did not affect the town of Vadonville. Our mission was also to save a house, preserve work tools and contain the risk of pollution because there is a stream nearby. Inside the building, we were told about tar but it is a vegetable tar so a limited impact on the environment and no poisoning.“
A dam was placed on the stream and a monitoring device put in place.
