THE OBJECTIVE ➡ Flitter is a new car insurance launched in January 2022 by Jérémy Steinberg, Arnaud Dumora and Hajer Gorgi. The principle: pay your insurance according to the kilometers traveled. By raising 2.5 million euros at the end of January from Global Founders Capital and Xavier Niel, Flitter wishes to reinvent insurance while surrounding itself with partners in the same sector such as Luko or Assu2000. “Car insurance must adapt to changes in our lifestyles, cars and the place they occupy in the daily lives of French people,” explains Jérémy Steinberg, President. Its future will be connected and in use. Flitter promises savings of €250 per year compared to traditional insurance players who do not take into account the actual use of a vehicle when defining their rates. A need that is all the more striking since the French in telework are more and more leaving their car in the garage. The start-up’s insurance offer is 100% digital: the insured can for example obtain his quote in a few minutes on the website, he can then choose his flat rate and submit his mileage via a simple photograph. Once insured, he can modify his mileage or adjust his guarantees at any time.
