The Covéa group continues its transformation by deploying its new Finance Information System. An overhaul that is part of the Diapason program supported by its Covéa strategic plan “Growing together 2024”. Roughly speaking, its purpose is to contribute to the dynamics of operational excellence.
In more detail, the objectives of this overhaul are multiple: to enable the group to have a common finance language for the three brands (MMA, MAAF, GMF), by managing on a single platform,
general and analytical accounting, overheads, budget and financial reporting; simplify processes, rationalize the application base; gain in synergy and facilitate future transformations, in particular the integration of new Business Information Systems.
The Diapason program is now taking a decisive first step: in accordance with the initial schedule, the companies of the MAAF brand have all been successfully deployed on the new Finance IS on January 3, 2022. For its implementation, Covéa has chosen publishers prominent on the market: SAP and its new ERP (SAP S4/HANA) and EPM (SAC Planning) solutions, hosted on the cloud and Axway for its accounting integration platform.
The program is currently in its home stretch with the roll-out scheduled for 2023 for the GMF and MMA brands. The new Finance IS will then be made available to all of the Group’s accountants and management controllers, ie more than 500 users.
According to Aude Messin, Finance Transformation Director of the group, “the launch of the new Finance IS at MAAF is a great success for the Covéa Group. This success demonstrates our ability to master our transformation trajectory in a period of crisis such as we have gone through, while constantly seeking convergence, simplification and rationalization of our ecosystem. This is a major asset for employees, as evidenced by the first very positive feedback from the businesses. »
