The American company CertiK has just completed a series B3 financing round and obtains 88 million dollars. The funds will primarily be used to bolster its blockchain security technology.

CertiK, a blockchain security pioneersaid to have raised $88 million in a Series B3 funding round. Thanks to this financing, the American start-up brings its capital to more than 2 billion dollars. In less than a year, the company was able to raise $230 million.
The latest round of funding was led by Advent International, Insight Partners and Tiger Global. Goldman Sachs and previous investors like Lightspeed Venture Partners and Sequoia also participated.
CertiK was founded in 2018 by professors from Columbia and Yale universities. The start-up describes itself as a pioneer in blockchain security. It uses the best formal verification and AI technology to secure and monitor blockchainssmart contracts and web3 apps.
Improving already proven technologies
CertiK claims to have over 3,200 corporate clients under its belt. Since its creation, the company was able to protect over $300 billion in cryptocurrency. It claims to be well placed to help organizations prevent cryptocurrency losses that have already exceeded $1 billion this year.
CertiK offers an audit service to verify blockchain protocolssmart contacts and Web3 applications in an organization’s environment. Its Skynet platform offers a continuous monitoring of security threats.
The blockchain security company is seeing high demand for its products and services. Its revenues have been multiplied by 12 in 2021 thanks to the launch of its Know Your Customer (KYC) service andfraud investigation.
