Brokerage: Mercer France acquires GeFi Assurance

Mercer France announces that it has acquired GeFi Assurance, a broker specializing in collective corporate social protection. This operation should in particular enable Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) to develop in group health and personal protection.

Mercer France has just acquired GeFi Assurance, a firm specializing in collective social protection which claims 60 client companies for 200,000 people protected. “GeFi Assurance also advises managers on the changes needed to manage their growth and the potential optimization of overall compensation. As such, GeFi represents the interests of many international groups and benchmark companies in their sectors of activity (IT services, consulting, industry, chemicals, distribution, etc.)”can we read in a press release.

If the amount of the operation has not been disclosed, the synergies of the two companies should above all allow Mercer Marsh Benefits to develop in the tricolor group health and provident market. In France, MMB now claims nearly 1.3 million beneficiaries.
