Bitcoin in the ring: KO fiat currencies, UFC fighters will be paid in crypto

Round 1, Fight! – Sports and crypto have been allies together for the past two years. The fan bonus will be paid out to the top three fighters in the pay-per-view (PPV) event by official UFC partner cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com. There will be a total of three Bitcoin fan bonuses. Fight Night fighters will receive an effect bonuses ranging from $10,000 to $30,000. Fans around the world will be able to vote for Fight Night BTC bonuses. For this, they will have to go to the official website of the Crypto.com exchange on the day of the event.

The first Bitcoin Fan Bonus will be introduced at the upcoming UFC 273 event. It is Volkanovski vs The Korean Zombie PPV scheduled for Saturday, April 9, 2022. The Bitcoin Fan Bonus will be added to the traditional bonuses of Fight Night. It will indeed be added to the performance bonuses granted to UFC athletes.

Sport and Crypto, a team of winners

Sports and crypto have shown great synergy over the past two years. Several major companies and sporting events have signed partnerships with emerging crypto technology companies.
